What if America had a leadership team that truly put democracy and people first? That’s the vision behind this project—a fusion of political activism and creative satire that challenges the status quo and inspires new possibilities.
At Democracy First, we are serious about strengthening democracy, resisting authoritarianism, and fighting for policies that empower the middle class. At the same time, The Political Dream Team invites you to imagine a government we wish we had—one led by real, principled leaders who put the people above politics.
Guiding this mission is President “E”, a Martian leader with an intergalactic perspective on justice, here to help struggling Americans navigate these turbulent times. With President “E”’s Fantasy Cabinet, we showcase the bold leadership America needs—free from corruption, corporate influence, and partisan gridlock.
This isn’t just a thought experiment—it’s a call to action, especially for young people. Those of us in the 70-plus club, like Bernie Sanders and myself, can only push the line so far. By now, we’re supposed to be taking long cruises, organizing photo albums, and enjoying discussions with friends about the medcations we are taking.
So please, remember — the future is your responsibility now, Explore. Engage. Organize. Resist. Put Democracy First.

MEET OUR FANTASY PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES
Hello Earthlings,
Thank you for welcoming me to your beautiful planet and electing me as your interim Fantasy Dream Team President. I am truly honored.
As a curious Martian who keeps up with intergalactic news, I’ve been watching events unfold in the United States on our local TouTube channel on Mars with a mix of disbelief and concern. Earthlings can be brilliant and resilient, yet alarmingly gullible at times. I feel compelled to expose a great deception:
When President Trump says “Make America Great Again,” what he really means is: — bring back the robber barons of the 1890s — the same corporate overlords who amassed fortunes for themselves while steering the country straight into the Great Depression of the 1920’s.
We cannot let history repeat itself. Trump’s economic policies are paving the way for another disaster, and if we don’t stop him, he may just Make America Depressed Again.
I have long admired the boundless creativity of humankind—your music, art, literature, architecture, and, of course, your comedy. Your ability to build communities and inspire hope is unmatched. That is why I believe that together—through the unstoppable force of the human spirit and a little Martian ingenuity—we can restore democracy and create a future worth believing in.

Our flagship project, Legislation, keeps members informed about legislative actions—from the initial idea stage to the moment a bill becomes law. The most effective way citizens can create lasting change is by helping representatives develop and pass legislation that benefits the middle class and ensures long-term stability.
